Investigating
Completely Blocked Gulley (still blocked)
Reported via desktop in the Blocked Drain / Gully category anonymously at 14:54, Wednesday 11 February 2026
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later
I reported this blockage on 26/09/25 - your ref: 8219055. You changes status to "investigating" on 26/09/25 and 24/11/25. Then, on 06/01/26, "action scheduled". At 17.02 yesterday, I was sent an email saying "Fixed". You need to take disciplinary action against the person who changed advised you that this has been "Fixed" as it has not been touched. My first photo is of 26/09/25 the send is this morning ........ no evidence of any work being done. However, your contractors must have been here as they have driven along the verge, making the blockage worse, and flattening some of the daffodils that I had planted in the verge. I reported this again on 31/01/2026 - your ref: 880713 and you have closed it down - again - without doing anything. Your email says: "Thank you for your report. The general condition of this road has been recorded, and resources will be considered for future programmed works." That implies that you have completely ignored my last report and the contractors, who were nodoubt paid large sums to complete the uncompleted works in December have got away with it! I will continue to repost this report until your contractors return to fix it and will also repost the report on local social media, in the hope that our local councillors will see it.

Our social media reporter - Capt. Quackingduck - has investigated and says that he is definitely NOT floating down the gulley - just sitting in a muddy puddle.
