Dangerous road degradation

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 11:54, Wednesday 11 February 2026

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

Shockingly dangerous 'pot holes' for the entire stretch of road, Manor Road/Newbury Street. Whole road is a collapsing into huge holes with rubble everywhere. Cars coming through too fast for conditions and there will be a potentially catastrophic accident here. Cars are forced to drive in the middle of the road, if you stay in lane the car won't make it through the road when it's destroyed by a gaping chasm opening to hell, or caving system.

  • This, and all the other potholes at the end of Newbury Street, are causing a serious hazard. I had to swerve to avoid a vehicle that was driving on the wrong side of the road to avoid a huge pothole in the middle of the road. It is only a matter of time before a crash happens.
