Multiple deep potholes presenting danger
Reported via mobile in the Pothole category anonymously at 16:48, Monday 9 February 2026
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later
I am writing to raise a serious concern about a pothole on Draycott road, a main access road used daily by parents accessing the local school and nursery. This road is heavily used and poses a safety risk to children, parents, and other road users. Although the road was recently repaired, the surface has deteriorated quickly and the potholes are now deeper than before. The area requires urgent inspection and proper resurfacing, not temporary repairs, to prevent further damage and ensure safety.

The fix was poor, and the potholes are back.
Draycott Rd is the sole access to a number of housing estates, the school, nursery, and village hall.
Further, due to inconsiderate parking by Corne Motors staff and stock, traffic in both directions is forced over this section of road exacerbating the pothole and general road surface condition.

Multiple potholes still not repaired, this could cause problems for emergency vehicles gaining access to the village hall, tennis club, and residential properties.
