The road outside the school and bend need repairs
Reported via mobile in the Roads and Carriageways category anonymously at 12:15, Monday 9 February 2026
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
The whole road outside the school and the bend after has more holes in the road than a cheese grater. It's unsafe to drive it with out swerving and almost having a head on with other cars etc and when the school in the morning or after and it's busy it's not safe. Please resurface this for pure safety for the school children.

Appalling potholes on Newbury Street Wantage. Bend of the road outside the school is very dangerous especially the large hole that requires you to drive in the middle of the road straight into traffic coming wide anyway because of parked cars. Further down, the road is in a very poor condition as you move towards the traffic lights. Pot holes getting bigger daily.

This, and all the other potholes at the end of Newbury Street, are causing a serious hazard. I had to swerve to avoid a vehicle that was driving on the wrong side of the road to avoid a huge pothole in the middle of the road. It is only a matter of time before a crash happens.
