The WHOLE ROAD has horrendous potholes for miles

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 10:35, Sunday 8 February 2026

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

This road from the Moreton road all the way to Hook Norton needs significant repair. There are unending significant deep and sharp potholes on both sides, some are 4-5inches deep and very wide, the road surface edge has broken away for miles along the road and the only 'drivable' bit in the middle is full of poor surfacing and potholes. Many lorries drive along this section regularly so it needs a COMPLETE RESURFACE before someone gets injured/killed coming off the road due to a burst tyre, or getting hit trying to swerve the potholes! This road has been a problem for years but the last winter has made it undrivable and more of a farm track than a main road way to Banbury from the South!
