Pavement verge debris

Reported via Android in the Footways and Pavement damage category by Matthew Harrison at 08:00, Saturday 7 February 2026

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

I can't believe this must be the result of a maintenance activity. How can this be an acceptable result of clearing verges?? This is a footpath and it is completely unusable. It means pedestrians are having to walk on a very busy, VERY fast road. Why weren't the trimmings put on either side of the path where there is already grass? This is a dangerous situation, negligent and needs to be rectified immediately. It was reported last month and has still not been resolved...

  • We tried to walk along here on Sunday, still not been cleared. Very slippy, walked on the road at times. Who on earth would clear the road and dump the trailing's onto a footpath. I suppose the Tax payer will have to pay for this mess to be removed. Was there no supervision?
