Drain cover in bad condition

The drain cover is becoming unstable, and the surrounding tarmac is cracked on all sides. The general condition of the road surface is poor. Mereland Road is a busy street frequently used by LGVs and double‑decker buses. If the cover becomes fully detached, it would pose a significant risk to both vehicles and pedestrians. This is especially concerning as school pupils walk along this stretch of road every day.
