Very dangerous pothole – immediate safety risk

Reported via iOS in the Pothole category anonymously at 08:00, Thursday 5 February 2026

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

There is a very large and dangerous pothole on the roundabout exit from Thame towards Aylesbury. The defect is severe and presents an immediate hazard to road users, particularly cars, cyclists, and motorcyclists.

Vehicles are forced to swerve suddenly to avoid the pothole, creating a high risk of collisions, loss of control, or damage to vehicles. Due to its position on a roundabout exit, it is especially dangerous as traffic is accelerating and merging.

This pothole requires urgent inspection and repair as it poses a serious safety risk and could easily cause an accident.

Please treat this as a high-priority highway safety issue
