Huge Accident Causing Pothole
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
Massive pothole that you either destroy your car on or have to go onto oncoming traffic to avoid. This is particularly bad with the roundabout being so dangerous and new and the way people drive over it. I couldn't take a picture as this area is not safe to be doing that.

You are forced into this pothole by the cones from the works on this road. You have no other option. Having just turned right from Steventon , doing less than 20 mph, it’s wrecked my tyre. There were also other cars in the lay-by affected and a transporter moving another damaged car. Given there are workers daily on this road you should be aware and it needs fixing asap. It is not safe to take a photo of the pothole as this is a major route from Milton interchange.

Photo of one of the potholes, there are 2 in close distance of each other. You can see the cones force you into it. Given there are workmen here daily working on the bus lane scheme - why can’t they cover them over and move the cones until the really need to work in that area, which is clearly not at night. There also used to be a flood light here which would have helped you see the state of the road but that has disappeared too. There are too many cars affected for the workmen not to notice. Please get this fixed urgently.

This pothole destroyed one of our tyres last night, when also saw at least 2 other people replacing tyres. This needs priority attention.

Hit this pothole last night and ruined my front tyre. Good quality, newish tyres. Couldn’t avoid it due to oncoming traffic. Found out later my husband had stopped to help someone else who had hit the same pothole earlier that evening. It needs to be fixed!!
