Very deep pothhole with sharp eges.

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later
I am writing to formally report a severely dangerous pothole and to notify you of an incident involving my vehicle.Location: Upon exiting the A3400 and turning right towards Great Rollright. Incident on the 02/02/26 at 20.45
The pothole is deep with sharp, vertical edges. Upon striking it last night, my tyre was immediately destroyed, the wheel rim was damaged, and the impact caused a momentary loss of control that nearly resulted in a collision with an oncoming vehicle.
Under Section 41 of the Highways Act 1980, the Council has a statutory duty to maintain the public highway to a safe standard. The magnitude and nature of this defect suggest a significant failure in the inspection regime or an unreasonable delay in reactive repairs, both of which constitute a breach of that duty.
I will be seeking compensation for the damage to my vehicle and expect this to be addressed as a matter of urgency statutory.

This is no longer dangerous.
It is deadly. Someone on a motorcycle is going to die driving down this road.
There are at least five or six equally as bad potholes where the road is now simply collapsing.
