Road collapsing and multiple potholes

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

As you can see from the multiple reports on this site, this road is in desperate need of repairing. The whole stretch of road, about 200m on the A417 through East Hendred in both directions is dangerous. It’s breaking up, the top surface has disappeared in places and there are multiple large deep potholes. I have had lorries and busses driving at me on my side of the road to avoid the damaged road. There will be a serious accident here before long. This is the third time I have reported this, each time I’m told it will be investigated within 28 days. Nothing ever gets done. Just resurface the road before someone is driven into!
