Collapsed underground drainage pipes

Reported via desktop in the Damaged Gully or Catchpit Ironwork category anonymously at 15:28, Monday 2 February 2026

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

This has been reported over 5 times now, and the councils idea of a repair was to simply throw some tarmac over the problem which apparently " met the councils standards". Oh boy, how embarrassing! This underground drainage run is failing all along the top of Denchworth road and will only get worse, it is now causing the adjacent footpath to sink, and it wont be long before it causes property damage! Adress the issue, dont just throw tarmac on it and hope it goes away or becomes somebody else's problem. this repair job is a failing shambles!
