  • Today, Sunday 15th Feb it has been raining quite a bit. Actually it has been raining quite bit all month. And, just to let the Highways Department know that this corner of the highway is indeed very flooded. And folks using the pedestrian crossing are most likely to get soaked as a result of passing cars unable to avoid this puddle. I note that the 'relevant team' are 'investigating.....Albeit 13 days ago..... I do believe that this flooding issue has been around for many, many months, if not years. It does not say much for OCC highways ability to fix matters, does it ? Below this 'update text box' is a tick box for 'This problem Has Been Fixed' - perhaps it might be wise to remove this option as rarely are problems properly fixed by OCC.... Sadly.

  • This massive puddle was causing a lot of trouble yesterday

  • Now the weather is better, and thus no flooding, I have noticed that there is actually a kerb drain gully right where is floods. And there was a gully sucker in Kidlington the other week. Don't suppose the County Council could 'join up the dots' and get said gully sucker that is in Kidlington to clean out this drain ? Perhaps, just perhaps, it may help solve this flooding issue ? Thanks You
