Pothole outside no.9 Littleworth Road

Reported via mobile in the Pothole category by Maureen Stephens at 14:38, Saturday 31 January 2026

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

This pothole was “fixed” last week. The next day it started opening up again and has since got worse. What a pity the crew couldn’t fix it properly, along with other reported potholes on a twenty meter stretch from High Street, and therefore save themselves time in having to come back and taxpayers money.

  • Another week and now even worse - nearly impossible to avoid

  • This hole is right opposite my cottage, 12, and every time a heavy vehicle, such as the 46 bus goes through it my whole house vibrates with two bumps. It urgently needs proper fixing because very few cars, vans, or lorries can avoid it. The heavy traffic from the school twice daily only adds to the need.

  • The fact that this is a failed repair makes this issue even worse for motorists and cyclists as it was widened with an angle grinder so the edges make it even worse when in contact with a wheel. Accident waiting to happen as it is impossible to avoid.
