Flooding and general poor condition of road surface

Reported via mobile in the Flooding on Road category anonymously at 19:46, Thursday 29 January 2026

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Long Tow regularly floods, in part due to blocked drains.

The pavement is impassable, which is the f huge concern given this the only appropriate route to access Abingdon schools.

The flooding is contributing to a significant deterioration in the condition of the road surface. The entire length of Long Tow is covered in pot holes. Some are not visible due to the flood water.
