Large potholes - serious road safety hazards

Reported via mobile in the Pothole category anonymously at 13:35, Thursday 29 January 2026

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

A series of deep and sharp potholes on Woodperry Hill (right from where you go into the wooded area, direction from golf club to Oxford). It’s absolutely impossible to avoid them, as they spread on the whole lane. Large potholes observed on the opposite lane as well. Many drivers are swerving on the opposite late to avoid them, which becomes very dangerous considering the low visibility. Route is also very busy in the morning and afternoon. My tyre got cut yesterday (which I already reported to the council). This morning another car was stopped with AA assistance next to it, in the same spot. The potholes are getting worst every day because of the weather. This road is a real safety hazard. Needs fixing asap or getting closed.
