Bampton roundabout
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
I've just seen the "repairs" to the triple potholes on the Bampton Roundabout, which were reported last week. It is a really shoddy job. Whoever did the work hasn't even swept up the core road materials from those holes that were scattered across the road and footpath.
Like so many potholes there are reoccuring ones. Is this really the most cost effective way of dealing with them - poor quality repairs that inevitably have to be revisited on multiple occasions in the future? Why not fix them properly so they don't reoccur?

When I saw the repair I I thought it looked less than ideal and checked with OCC highways. They have confirmed that it an emergency “make safe” repair not a permanent one. I hope that the latter will follow soon.
