Deep pothole on Souldern bound direction, between M-way bridge and Inkerman farm. It’s right under near side wheel and impossible to go round if there is oncoming traffic.

Local social media reports two cars with a puncture/shredded tyre from this pothole this morning. It’s a deep one!

Over a month ago it was reported and nothing has been done no markings or anything.

This HUGE pot hole was full of water with no street lights it was impossible to see, it's caused huge damage to my car. 2 New tires and a new wheel. This is a huge expense to us and we are very lucky we or no one else was injured. Pictures taken the morning after (Tuesday 24th Feb 2026).

Went through this in the dark and it has caused severe damage to my tyre and car. Get it fixed!!!

The pothole is still there, nearly fell in it again. I am furious that I have still not had a response about the damage to vehicle. What a disgrace!

Please can you also note that there is one nearly as bad a bit further on just the “bend ahead” sign. It’s not as big, but quite deep.

This is now very deep. I’ve asked officers to expedite an urgent safety repair.
