Didcot road, numerous pot holes

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The Didcot road into Long Wittenham and through to Clifton Hampdon should be closed, both ways as it is in an appalling state. More pot holes than I can count, due to the abnormal amount of through traffic on a daily basis, using the villages at a rat run to get to Oxford and the M40, due to all of the housing developments in Didcot. Why do the local councils allow developers to build loads of houses, knowing that the local roads cannot cope with the increase amount of traffic. ? Developers should be made to install the roads and infrastructure before building the new estates

All of the potholes through the village are awful! So deep and wide. And hidden by rain water :( All through from the village hall right down to the bend for little wittenham. The worst ones are where the give way sections are, you can't avoid them. Serious awful potholes that need fixing.
