Thames Water had a large burst pipe in July/August last year (torrents of water flowing down the road). This lifted quite a lot of tarmac. When they repaired the burst they only replaced the tarmac around the hole they dug. The rest of the road surface is now failing and there are two potholes inc one deep one in the middle of the road.
