Blocked stream culvert
Reported via mobile in the Blocked Drain / Gully category by Julian Money at 17:04, Wednesday 21 January 2026
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
The stream that runs through a culvert below Mill Street is blocked/ backed up with sediment which is causing the stream to flow down the road. This causes huge problems during sub zero temperatures, and greatly speeds up the creation and expansion of the large, deep potholes that have been reported at the "S" bend 200meters further down Mill Street.

I’m concerned about this pothole as it is related to a manhole cover and therefore very close to a manhole shaft. It’s also close to a bend so motorists if they see it veer towards the middle of the road. There are extensive large potholes in this road which you know about but this one is potentially dangerous. I have given a W3W location, second photo

This stream has overflowed on this road for YEARS. I can't remember a time when this road didn't have water running down it. Even in the summer it is the same but it is really dangerous in winter when it gets icey.
