Dangerous road

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Potholes, uneven surfaces on both sides of carriageway !

Getting even worse, cars etc coming over the line to avoid the holes from kencot to filkins , 60 mph road.RAF traffic uses this road every day too.

Why is nobody doing anything, apparently my fix my street email update says this problem is fixed now . It wasn’t fixed at 20.52pm tonight when I had to drive it again dodging potholes!

  • Not fixed a failed road sign has been put up as if that makes it ok, there is going to be ahead on collision there very soon as its slso on a brnd, it is really dangerous!!

  • Well this situation that you are not fixing is guess what no better! No words for the b4477 between filkins and kencot apart from the council should be ashamed ! I guess nobody at the council uses this road?? Ignore the problem and it will go away, I suppose it’s worth a try until that one big fatality happens, which I pray doesn’t! Oh and the signs are saying you as a council acknowledge there is a problem! 2 more holes on the way out of kencot towards filkins just thought I would mention them ! I have rang highways and emailed and been told it’s fixed on an update from fix my street! I will pay for Specsavers appointments if needed! The 10 day reply doesn’t seam to work either for emails! So my conclusion is money spent on all those lovely 20 mph signs , that have caused so much anger on the roads locally and of course thats a different department, so it is ok. But where is the road tax money that is supposed to be used to fix my street gone! From a very feed up driving instructor! The AA and tyres companies are very busy out here!

  • Thankyou for doing the bit in my picture! Still some work to make the road safe to do! Please come and finish the rest of the road from kencot to filkins b4477, we would really appreciate it! Thanks again for coming out yesterday!
