Have just driven through one of these enormous potholes in the dark and punctured front wheel.

Update: AA called out: wheel rim itself damaged and wheel needs replacing. A damaged road surface like this left unrepaired could cause a very serious accident.

I hit this pothole on my way home tonight. It has put a hole in my front nearside tyre. Have not been able to check if the wheel us damaged.

Whole road in both directions in a terrible state. But two very large deep potholes on the nearside of the carriageway in the direction of Britwell Salome (from Benson). On Sunday February 25th I unfortunately hit the first. There was a car coming in opposite direction so I couldn't swerve. The impact punctured my nearside front tyre and damaged the rim of the wheel. Amazingly two other cars were having wheel repairs to damage caused by potholes on the same stretch in the Red Lion pub car park (Britwell Salome) from when we arrived for the same. This road is incredibly dangerous and online searches attest to the fact that many people have suffered damage as a result of this carriagway being in a terrible state of repair.
