  • Sunday evening now, we have not had any rain to speak of over the weekend and the water is still completely across the road over 4" deep which must be getting to the territory of causing serious damage to cars if it gets into the air intake, my car for example say between 4" and 6".

  • The road is still flooded, like driving through a ford, can this please be fixed so that everytime it rains its not flooded

  • Flooding everytime it ria which means cars have to go on opp side of the road to et round the blind corner - accidient waiting to happen

  • The road is still flooded, near side of road impassable so cars have to drive on opposite side of road. It’s national speed limit here and there’s very poor visibility round the corner so this is extremely dangerous.

  • This corner has only been regularly flooding within the last 5 years, prior to this it was only after weeks of torrential rain. In my opinion either the drainage is blocked or is broken and needs urgent repair before a nasty accident on a blind 90 degree corner. It is impassable on one side of the road and the shallower flooding on the other side has damage to the tarmac causing steering to be compromised.

  • The road is getting more dangerous as more rain falls onto already waterlogged fields, with the nearby streams close to overflowing onto the road to the north, there are drains that are probably blocked or inadequate for the amount of rainfall.

  • This corner floods nearly every time it rains. Still flooded now, very dangerous especially in the dark.

  • Still flooded, so much so on the southbound carriageway there is a deep pothole where tarmac has broken up but is no longer visible due to depth of water until your wheel hits it. This corner seems to have flooded more since the hedgerow on the west side of the corner was removed. Possibly to allow farm vehicles a quick access to the field from the farm track opposite. This could result in mud from the vehicles blocking ditches/drains?

  • The flooding has made the corner virtually impassable with water covering the entire road, and traffic approaching (or attempting to) on the wrong side of the road. Unless the drainage is fixed with some urgency we are going to see more accidents.

  • This corner is now completely under water, and the road in both directions is becoming dangerous, with potholes under the water, cars and lorries being driven at excessive speeds, causing even more damage and dangerous conditions for others, the Millbrook stream is about to burst its banks, this road needs to be closed now!

  • The road is flooded across both carriageways. There are big potholes under the water. It is extremely dangerous and hardly passable.

  • Friday 06/02/26 The road remains under water on both approaches to and around Cadbury corner. A lack of suitable/effective drainage remains an ongoing issue over several years. Currently there are not only dangers submerged potholes but also increasing build up of silt and small stone/rick deposits, extremely hazardous. Requires urgent t attention.

  • I incorrectly referred to this location as Cadbury Corner. It’s Sheen Croft.
