Pot hole

Reported via mobile in the Pothole category anonymously at 17:02, Friday 16 January 2026

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

A large pothole on Milton hill road heading from Packhorse to Blaise park development, also a number of others starting to appear along this stretch of road. Dangerous at night as road is not lit along this stretch. These will only get deeper and larger, as their is a lot of large lorries using this road for both Redrow and Canopy housing developments. Alot more traffic is using this road, as Trenchard Ave is closed. Please can these be filled ASAP , to prevent serious damage to cars.

  • Thank you for your enquiry. This issue has been passed onto the relevant team for investigation.

    State changed to: Investigating

  • Adding photos to raise the urgency of this request - extremely difficult to take photos here as there is no safe place to stop. These potholes are worsening every day and have still not even been marked with white paint, therefore have not been investigated, despite being reported numerous times and over a month ago!

Now that you have closed Trenchard Avenue, this is the ONLY route in and out of Milton Heights for residents and for those accessing the school and preschool with young children. It is a VERY busy route with more traffic than usual, cars and bikes are having to move to the other side of the road to avoid a long strip of potholes which are not visible in the dark or when the road surface is wet.
