Massive pothole first reported 22 dec 2025

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Tonight i have nearly had a head on collision trying to avoid this put hole. It is huge and will destroy any suspension wheels tyres if hit at any speed. What concerns me more is this was first reported on the 22 dec and it had not been identified fire repair. People know it's there and are moving over to avoid it putting them at risk of frontal collision as is on the approach to a brow of a hill. Come on oxford, fix it before some one dies

  • It's still there. Bursting peoples tyres, destroying wheels and suspension. If motorcyclists hit this it will probably take them off their bike and likely KILL them!!!

  • Today I almost had a head on collision on my way from Lambourn to Wantage. A car coming the other way swerved into the middle of the road to avoid hitting this pothole and I had to brake hard to avoid a collision, as did he. It’s on the brow of the hill and hard to see until you’re on top of it. FIX IT BEFORE THERE IS A SERIOUS ACCIDENT!
