The street lights all the way along slip road and the junction are out

Reported via desktop in the Lamp Out of Light category anonymously at 13:03, Thursday 15 January 2026

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The lights haven't worked since before Christmas, its very dangerous trying to use the "island" to go towards Milton Village past the gym. If you are coming from the park itself and want to enter the island to turn towards Milton its impossible to see the entrance. Arrows have been placed in the other direction but you can't see the concrete and as its a very narrow "gateway" to drive through not having the lights is making it almost impossible in the dark and rain that we are currently having. Someone is going to get hurt soon - you simply cannot see people or curbs or turnings. Needs to be addressed as a priority - temporary lighting should have been erected whilst works are ongoing. Total darkness is not good enough.

  • This is still the case. It's very dangerous and would help if concrete was painted white. You literally cannot see anything. It's a matter of time before someone hits something.
