Significant road damage & potholes require urgent attention
Reported via desktop in the Roads and Carriageways category anonymously at 12:38, Thursday 15 January 2026
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later
Over a 100+m stretch of Old London Road there is a series of potholes and carriageway damage that has got worse over many months / years. The road is essentially "single track" causing traffic to swerve and weave, creating danger for all - especially cyclists. This will not be patch-up job - something more substantial and longer-lasting is necessary, to avoid injuries and damage.

I’ve just ruined my car wheel and tyre in the mass of potholes here, 25 January. No warning signs or repairs - even though you state in another report that a contractor has visited the site and repairs are planned. Someone else, Orlando, had their wheel written off just after me. Please repair immediately. Nick A

This stretch of road is now impassable. Yet the council are putting in humps in Churchill. We're blessed with a disfunctional council
