'Easington Only' directional signpost removed

Reported via desktop in the Road Markings category by Victoria Nixey at 21:24, Saturday 10 January 2026

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The white ‘Easington only’ directional sign has been removed from the bottom of the hill pointing up to the village. This was removed by Drayton construction in early/mid January 2025. This sign was not damaged and was working perfectly well. This was reported in March 2025 by me and the case has been closed on the website although there has been no reinstatement of the sign. It is still causing directional and traffic safety issues.

People now don’t know when to turn to Easington without the sign, so they slow down on the main road, increasing risk of accidents.

Please could the sign be reinstated.
