Planned road resurfacing impact on water run off

Road resurfacing work is due to take place in Idstone this year - great news! - and we'd like to be sure that the current situation is rectified whereby water is channelled to the edge of our property when it rains, and there is no drainage to take it away. We get a high volume of water due to run off from the Ridgeway. We want to request that the road camber is such that water doesn't continue to be directed to our house.

Please also be aware that we believe the current drain opposite our drive is broken, causing water to flood onto the road at the corner on the same side, so any surface repairs may be damaged in future if the drain issue isn't rectified.
