Massive pothole near junction

Reported via mobile in the Potholes and maintenance category by Kathleen Beggin at 14:22, Tuesday 6 January 2026

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

This pothole has been here for some time with another appearing just before it. Too dangerous a road ( as cars travelling fast) to stop and take a photo. Please fix asap.

Council ref: ENQ261071303

  • This pothole is getting really dangerous. It's deep and you need to go into the other lane on an almost blind corner approaching a junction to avoid it

  • This STILL not fixed?!

This destroyed both of my nearside tyres on a wet February evening recently, during evening rush-hour. When it’s filled with water it just looks like standing water, run off from the field. Once you hit it, it’s too late

As previous contributors have said, the narrowness of the road and general business can make it impossible to take any evasive action. Either you suffer a blow out or head on collision with another motorist

This is dangerous and should not be left.
