2 large potholes. degradation in the dip

Reported via desktop in the Potholes and maintenance category by Pothole Hunter at 17:54, Saturday 3 January 2026

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

These issues were "fixed" in the summer after months of reports, even 1 said they had been fixed when not touched. These 2 are on the LHS if heading towards the A361. They are close together. 1 is a large hole, and another is a large hole, and a trench. Both are getting deeper after rain and ice. Both, if you have time, you have to go into the opposite lane to avoid them. No doubt OCC will drag their heels on these issues? Then you have the issue with "Cashelton" construction which do the repairs on behalf of OCC?? Will they do a good job, a patch up job, or just say its fixed, when nothing has been done. • Large pothole greater than 1 metre in length and 10cms deep on a sharp bend. This will damage tyres, wheel rims and suspension units. This has the potential to kill a motorcyclist.

  • Huge and deep pothole on the ongoing traffic side (left) of the road just as you come round the corner, therefore very difficult to see! Caused huge damage to my car in excess of £1400 to fix.
