Investigating
Serious Carrigewway erosion
Reported via desktop in the Roads and Carriageways category anonymously at 15:41, Sat 20 December 2025
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
This is not a pothole. It is a 15 metre ditch at the ege of the carriageway about 15 cms deep at the worst area. It has been reported multiple times and not fixed. It has got worse and there are issues from the end of my drive heading East down Sires Hill. It is extremely dangerous for all two wheeled vehicles and would cause serious damage to a car. What 3 Words reference is remaining.robes.crackled

Situation has got worse. You sent a colleague up here this week who marked potholes for urgent attention but completely failed to look at this. I now believe this is a threat to life. Get it sorted!

This report has been live for well over a month. Every day it gets worse and despite your inspectors on Sires Hill several times, no action or marking has taken place. This is an absolute disgrace.
