Breaking up of road surface.

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

I reported the danger of the road surface breaking up some months ago adjacent to the location marked. Fortunately we have not had prolonged hard frost … but water seeping through a broken surface is likely to freeze and then cost a lot more to reinstate. Some 10’s of meters need attention. It has become dangerous. I believe it was last repaired sprayed and chipped in 1997.

    The road will soon be impassable,with elongated sections of break-up combined with potholes. This is the road used by residents of Russells Water,Cookley Green etc.to get down to Henley as well as to Maidensgrove Common and has been in a shocking state for months.

  • This section of road has still not been investigated but has been reported for months now. It's causing broken drop links on my car. When it rains it's impossible to avoid the broken bits of the road. When will this lane be invested and re tarmacked. It's an absolute joke!
