Cars and vans are still going up the wrong way on this road. Causing a near collision today. please can it be even clearer its a one way system

  • Thank you for your enquiry, the Route has been inspected and signage is already oversized and over specified for the character of the road, the linemarking of No entry, whilst legible has been added to a list for consideration for refurbishment in the 2026/27 financial year. If drivers continue to regularly head the wrong way along this route then it is possible that this is a decision of the driver and we would suggest raising this with your local Police neighbourhood team as only police enforcement would have chance in changing this driver behavior.
