Roadside bank is damaged

Reported via desktop in the Other category anonymously at 11:45, Tue 16 December 2025

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and South Oxfordshire District Council 6 minutes later

Since the installation of the 'Pinchpoint'/road narrowing works on the Wheatley road in Garsington earlier in the year, we are now experiencing an increase in the erosion and damage to our roadside bank outside our property. Frequently people have to reverse back from the pinch-point, as the priority is from the other direction, coming out of the village, but they then are still positioning themselves several feet from the pavement kerb, and so traffic coming from the centre of the village is then forced over and keep driving up our bank, resulting in it collapsing and then being washed away. As such, I would appreciate some advice as to what I can do or install to stop this damage happening, and if you can help me in any way, in this respect. (hopefully without a great deal of cost).
