Flooded Pathway and Additional Pathway Needed

Reported via iOS in the Other category anonymously at 11:32, Tue 16 December 2025

Sent to Oxford City Council and Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Dear Team, I’ve tried to report this on the Oxfordshire County Council countryside paths website ( not here) but the website is not intuitive and I couldn’t report it there. The problem ? The current paths are uneven and collect a lot of water when it has rained ( flooded). There are at least 4 areas that entirely cover the path making it less accessible and potentially dangerous as one navigates across the wet grass to avoid. ALSO could there please, please be a direct path from Maltfield/Stockley’s corner straight -ish to OXSRAD. The very nature of OXSRAD and their, more than average, disabled clients should mean better traverse between Road and OXSRAD. Many, many issues re flooded paths including at night etc.. All H&S issues. Please pass to right team to address. Thank you.

  • The pictures above are before the recent rains. So flooded pathways are a lot worse.

  • Most paths in our 100 plus green spaces throughout the city tend to become waterlogged in places when subject to the weather we have had over recent weeks. There is no budget available to undertake extensive path improvement works at this time.
