The verges beside the footway need cutting back please

We are fortunate to have a surfaced footpath between Benson and RAF BENSON. But in several places, including the section opposite Fifield Manor , soil and vegetation are covering a fair sized proportion of the surface. This is a good time of year to shovel back the soil and weeds and expose the full width of the path. Rain can then wash the surface. Next spring onwards nettles will grow out from the adjacent banks and it will be more difficult to tackle. The whole route from the edge of Benson village to the top of Green Lane, Ewelme needs checking for these incursions please. The section beside Green Lane is particularly neglected.
