  • Rain water is not draining from a pond upstream of this spot, it is overflowing into our drive. we know there is a blockage down stream. The pond is very full and cannot drain effectively because of this issue. In the past the house next to the pond has flooded so this is an issue that needs urgent attention please. • May i ask for urgent action in this please? There is no halt to the water build up. More rain is anticipated. We know the drain is blocked. The water is visible thru the grates. The surplus can be quickly addressed with a mobile pump. Can this be put in place asap to address the build up? I know a more percent at fix is required but to protect property from immediate flooding can this action be taken asap?

  • There has been no action at yet however there is a large truck at the end of our street - this truck is an OCC contractor that pumps over fill drains. Can u instruct them to do this now please?

Posted anonymously at 16:03, Tue 9 December 2025

  • There was a large drain clearing truck down our road earlier - we all thought “Hallelujah”, but no it was just a coincidence that it had stopped there for a little break. The driver said they could easily help but unless the OCC authorised them to assist they couldn’t. So in the list of things to get done, how is this job coming on? No message or update or reassurance from you at this point.

  • Hello OCC, please respond with a time that you are going to begin to address this issue. Street still flooded, drain still blocked - at least give a sign that a person who is responsibility for allocating resource to this is reading the messages - please? Many thanks - any message would be some assurance …..

  • I need to highlight this again as it is flooding once more. I do not think anything has happened since the previous request. Your guys are at the end of our street multiple times a day filling their tanker, can you get them to address is please? They will need to travel about 300 yards.

Please can you arrange inspection and remedial action asap?
