Pothole at junction of Old London Road with layby

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 14:46, Mon 8 December 2025

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

The position of the pothole makes it a significant hazard especially to cyclists. Going west from the layby to join the road I did not see it as I was looking to see if the road was clear. I think it is also significant enough to risk damaging car wheels.

Also for cyclists coming west there is a risk in hitting it whilst coming round the corner, as their attention will be on preparing to join the main road and staying clear of traffic cornering on the other lane.

It is also quite hard to see in some conditions (e.g. wet as it was when I hit it)
