Severe Flooding When Raining
Reported via desktop in the Flooding on Road category anonymously at 13:40, Mon 8 December 2025
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
Whenever it rains a large puddle forms across the westbound carriageway when driving towards Burford. During heavier rainfall the puddle spreads across both carriageways causing a danger to life on a sharp bend where cars have to cross onto wrong side of road to avoid deepest part of puddle. The new warning lights travelling westbound are helpful but do not solve a dangerous issue.
