The footpath that runs from Summerfield over a wooden bridge to Peachcroft Shopping Centre

Reported via iOS in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 17:04, Fri 5 December 2025

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

I reported this problem before leaf fall. The footpath is subsiding. A man fell off his bike and a lady walking her dog fell over in the summer. When I reported this barriers were erected and sandbags holding them in place. Nothing has been done and one barrier has gone and the other moved by the stream and the sandbags too. It is now very unstable and slippery with rotting leaves on the path. Please can this be dealt with promptly. Thank you.

  • It is now the end of January and nothing has been done. Can the footpath be repaired and the barrier removed. Please note the muddy condition of the cracked pathway that has dropped.

  • The area is a muddy mess. The barrier is still there propping up the fence. Slip hazard. More people using this bridge since the hundreds of homes have been built.
