Serious flooding across B481,Red Lane.

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

This drain/area of road floods habitually with heavy rains. The pool of water covers both carriageways - dangerous with oncoming vehicles swerving around the flooded section of road. The drainage point on the verge is not operating correctly and requires urgent remediation work.

  • This is a continuing problem whenever it rains. The 2 gullies are blocked with vegetation that hasn't been cleared for months and months. Traffic is unable to see the flood water on leaving the village towards Watlington and have to use other side of the road to avoid. This will cause an accident at some point with oncoming traffic going into the village
