My car makes outragously loud bang noises driving along here in 1st gear with foot on clutch trying to avoid the holes, it is absolutely awful, not suitable to drive on in any vehicle

This is a crater not a pothole. It is a vast, sharp-edged crater measuring over 150 cm by nearly 180 cm. It is a disgrace as the council have clearly tried to mend it several times as there are strips where its been cut which are now sharp if your front wheel goes into the hole as mine did yesterday. This road is DANGEROUS. It is not fit for purpose and the council continues to ignore residents complaints. The road needs re-surfacing. Every week we get non-locals stopping outside with flat tyres having driven up it via their satnav unaware that the road is super high by the cottages and ridged up in the middle so dangerous for small cars. The holes are HUGE and cause us all flat tyres. This is my third flat tyre in less than 2 years and these tyres cost nearly £300 each plus waiting for the RAC to come and help me get the spare on and then go into the garage in Witney to have a new one put on. IT IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH. IT LEAVES PEOPLE STRANDED IN THE DARK. It is time the Council did something to properly repair this lane.
