Investigating
Pothole, AND subsiding tarmac rippling along, at bus stop HS6.

The bus stop, HS6, in Headington shop has a pothole and appalling tarmac (over about 3 metres by 5 metres), which the buses are getting stuck into, and puddles become deep there! Luckily these busses are going slow, but it is a struggle for some drivers.
If, heaven forbid, there happened to be an emergency, and (unusually) there were no buses stopped there, , and heavy traffic along the road (going to the pedestrian crossing near Bury Knowle park ) & an emergency vehicle came along, and decided to 'undertake the traffic' in the bus stop lane- they wouldn't be aware of these defects, and travelling at any speed could spin their vehicle sideways into either cars on the road, OR the glass bus stop and the many waiting bus passengers at that busy bus stop. The emergency workers would be blamed- but it would be due to the road defects!!
I did take a photo but have been unable to load it now. I will try again tomorrow when at work. It shows the pothole well, but the subsidence bumps need to be seen to be appreciated.
