Numerous DEEP and SHARP edgeway potholes on both sides of th road, particularly on narrow points on bends which are unavoidable with oncoming traffic.

Reported via mobile in the Pothole category anonymously at 16:45, Thu 20 November 2025

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Numerous potholes down this road on both sides - difficult to pinpoint all points but many are on the edges and on the bends toward charney basset (eastbound) which are deep, sharp and unavoidable in oncoming traffic. They are impossible to see in the dark - last year I hit one of these and it caused irreparable tire damage and these are still here but as the nights get darker earlier will become an issue again. There is also a reemergence of road deterioration and potholes and the previously “repaired” spot at the junction to the B5408.

  • Potholes are still in existence and are growing in how lethal they are.

Opposite the turning to Hill Farm, there are some really nasty potholes right on the bend of a corner, these not only push oncoming traffic out into the middle of the road (again, I stress, going around an almost blind corner!) but they are deep enough that if individuals don’t miss them, they risk some serious damage to their vehicle. It needs sorting asap.
