This really needs sorting asap! Driving back from Swindon to Watchfield this evening in the dark and flooding totally over our side of the road, this is very dangerous! Cars slowing to avoid and driving into oncoming traffic, rain stopped yesterday and it is still flooded! Yet there is a drop on the other side of the kerb into a small stream and none of the road water drains away. This happens every winter, when is the verge getting dredged so it can drain? No wonder there accidents in this spot. A420 is not kept up to standards for safe driving at all!

Serious problem with drainage here. Needs sorting asap!! The traffic has to avoid this flooding by driving in opposite lane into oncoming traffic!! Also when it freezes it turns into a ice rink, several accidents last Year!! This post will be taken down as my last 3 were but im screenshoting them and keeping a record!! Sort this out now before you kill innocent motorists..... act Now!!!

This hazard has been a problem for years and is in need of very urgent attention. I'm amazed a head on or aquapalning incident has not occured. At the very least a cut should urgently be made in the raised grassed bank to allow the water to drain away to the lower roadside ditch.
