Cycle lane markings unclear

Reported via mobile in the Potholes and maintenance category anonymously at 21:12, Monday 10 November 2025

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Cycle lane markings across the pedestrian area were redone not so long ago but are now degrading and not brilliantly visible again. The cycle path passes outside the beer garden gates of the Red Lion pub.

Bikes come from Beaumont Street towards Gloucester Green/ George Street and have to cross this area of pedestrians not looking, but also motorbikes using the cycle path. It feels dangerous at times but was at least better when the markings were fresh - motorcyclists actually got off and pushed their bikes through, and pedestrians would notice the markings and not walk on front of cyclists as frequently. It made a difference. Could they be redrawn please? Thanks
