Sunken drain on bend

Very deep holes as a result of sunken drains, some on tight bends on corners of A4155 just after Station Road in Shiplake and all the way along the road heading in the direction of Henley. Has been like this for many months and am surprised this hasn't been spotted by your fictional 'spotters'! Will throw a car off balance if hit or a cyclist off their bicycle. Fix before there is a fatality!

  • Yes of course, I will just stop my car on the bend on a busy A road in the pitch black as no lights anywhere so I can assist you with this! I am sure you know the exact location or the spotters you claim that go out to inspect the roads every 10 years will see this - or sink down in to it!! The pinned location shows you exactly where it is!

  • Just past war memorial at Shiplake on the reading road going towards Henley v deep pot driving at about 20 mph and really hurt my back as car went down pothole.

  • This problem still hasn't been fixed despite being reported on 5th November. I have twice driven down this crater as it is very difficult to see in the dark. You must at least paint a white circle around it to highlight the hazard until it has been fixed.
