Deep pothole on nearside in the direction of Charlbury from the village of fowler

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

This pothole is about 12 inches by 12 inches and is at least 3 to 5 inches deep and is very severe when you have to drive in to it. Where there is traffic from the opposing direction your front wheel drops in to it and is likely to cause wheel damage or suspension damage. Should a cyclist be forced in to it they are likely to end up with significant/serve injury.

  • Hit this on Friday 31-Oct-25 around 13.30; caused slow puncture which damaged tyre beyond repair. replacement tyre cost £85 fitted.
